Ever seen Eye Floaters or Floaters? This video is about Floaters In Eyes. What Are Eye Floaters. Are Eye Floaters Dangerous.
One of my favourite notifications is your comments and as you may already know more often than not I'll get back to you with a reply and heart. If you'd like more information on any of the questions I've answered or have a question, then let me know so I can try and either dedicate a video to it or get back to you in next months responding to your comments.
A few of my favourite questions/comments from this video are:
1) Can you please do a video about floaters. - 00:22
Floaters and flashes are usually harmless, if you sometimes see:
• Floaters – such as small dark dots, squiggly lines, rings or cobwebs
• Flashes of light
In your vision, it's not usually a sign of anything serious, especially if:
• You have had them for a long time
• They're not getting worse
• Your vision is not affected
Flashes may stop by themselves, and floaters often become less noticeable as you get used to them.
When to get Urgent Medical Advice:
• Floaters or flashes appear suddenly
• Floaters or flashes suddenly increase in number
• You have a dark "curtain" or shadow moving across your vision
• You also have blurred vision
• You also have eye pain
• Floaters start after eye surgery or an eye injury
These could be signs of a serious problem with the back of your eye, which could permanently affect your vision if it's not treated quickly.
The list above can change and update with time. The NHS have a useful page all about when you should seek medical advice on this topic which can be found at - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/floaters-and-flashes-in-the-eyes/
